It also now has a full-time course number of CS-7639-O01. I took this class in Fall 2018, my fourth in the program, and it was my favorite class thus far. That said, head TA Ida was probably the best TA I've ever had in OMSCS thanks to her quick and very specific help on the forums. I believe many OMSCS classes don't adjust the syllabus for the summer semester, so this class probably isn't the best or worst option for a summer semester.

I would recommend to get on a waitlist for one of the two (6300 or 6250) and try registering for one of the available courses which u may have planned for later or which may interest you. This course will act as a backup. If you get thru the waitlist of your desired course, then u can drop off the backup course ... What really sucked was peer grading. All over the place. I put minimal effort into some reports and got a 5/5, put a ton of effort into others and really knocked my model out of the park and got a 3/5 with relatively no feedback. 30% of the grade should not be peer graded - a major failure point in this course and most courses in the OMS programs.Current Syllabus.
