#1 · Jul 24, 2018. I have a 2007 Ranger. Seems to have trouble starting. It will start, but it usually takes 4-5 attempts to get it started and you have to pump the gas pedal …I have recharged the batt (13.2v). I checked the ac volts from the stator and in a nutshell at 1000rpm 19.6v, 3000rpm 45v and 5000rpm 74v. So it now points to the regulator. Now to contact Polaris and see if they will repair under goodwill as my ranger is 10 moths old and only 890 km (550 mi) Crossing my fingers!!
