The only things the school lacks are the math department is not strong and academic advising is often not much help.

Prof. Ketchum seems to care about the topics in this course and what students have to share. Because the 3 books to read have very interesting short stories, it is easy to engage and participate each time. Zoom, Canvas, and Padlet participation. 3 papers about the books. 1 group project besides individual work on it.Professor Friend is, in my opinion, the most knowledgeable person on her field at SDSU. She is passionate about child development, which makes her classes really interesting! She encourages students participation.
