If you're big concern is getting another creature, I'm assuming you're talking about another raptor, away from the area of the alpha, then your best bet is getting an Argy and snatching it. Build a taming pen someplace else, snatch the critter you want, assuming it's one the Argy can carry, and drop it in the pen. BAM! Contained dino.Lure the raptor away from your base by aggroing him and then running away. Once he's far away, go get your stuff and move elsewhere. Beaches next to the ocean are a good idea.
